Kitty Catnip buds are organically grown - and blended with naturally grown wild catnip - here in the Kittitas Valley of Washington State.  Nourished in the rich volcanic soils - and quenched with snow melt waters from the Cascade Mountains these flower loaded plants attract hordes of bees and other pollinators that help produce these irresistibly flavorful catnip buds.  We harvest our buds from mid-summer through the fall.  The harvested buds are quickly covered, solar dried then vacuum sealed to preserve summer’s fresh minty flavor.  Kitty Catnip is not chopped like other products - instead our buds are mechanically sorted from the stems, leaves and seeds giving your cats the part of the catnip plant they really love – The Buds!  Of course you may find the occasional stem and leaves – but you’ll also find a few seeds in every package.  Kitty Catnip is seasonal and it may be out of stock toward harvest time.  This ensures that our domestically grown Kitty Catnip is as fresh as can be delivered.
